Chambourg Stud is an ambitious project spanning all stages in the sport horse industry: breeding, training of young horses, commercial stables, covering of mares and competition at the highest levels.
In addition to the sale of dressage and show jumping foals bred here at Chambourg, the Stud has a regular selection of three- to six-year olds available for potential buyers to view and try out. This system ensures that our team has a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the business enabling us to offer skilled advice tailored to meet individual needs.
The value of a stud farm does not reside solely in rigorous mare selection and control of parentage. It is also defined by its skill in breeding foals and by the quality of the training provided to produce modern sport horses. A stud farm is a full-time, specialised occupation. Facilities
Nestled in a magnificent green and natural setting in the forest of Escherange, Chambourg Stud specialises in dressage and show jumping.
The stud extends over 30 hectares and its facilities include:
- Spacious stalls (3.5 x 5 m)
- 20 x 50 m indoor training arena
- 52 x 32 m outdoor training area
- 20 m diameter automated walker for six horses
- Havrincourt ring
- Numerous paddocks
